An aircraft will transport 11 injured patients to Cairo for treatments, following clashes between two families in a village in Sinai. General Manager of Al Arish Hospital Dr Sami Anwar said the patients will be transported for further treatments. Clashes broke out Thursday night between two families from the same village of Bir al-Abed, northern Sinai, sources said. About 20 people were injured, 11 of them in critical conditions, sources said. Army officials and police officers managed to contain the fight and mediators met with both families to ensure they have reconciled and to avoid court proceedings. The family members used weapons and gas pipes which caused severe gunshot wounds, burns and significant damages to houses and shops nearby.
