
The death toll from clashes between Benghazi Saaqa (elite) troops and Ansar Al-Sharia militant group during August has reached 12 people while 60 others were injured in a number of areas.
In statements to MENA on Thursday, a military source in the Saaqa group said the troops, in cooperation with Armed Forces and police, are still in clashes with Ansar Al-Sharia militant group.
The source added that the Libyan air force and artillery are shelling some locations of Ansar Al-Sharia.
