15 militants killed in NW Pakistan

At least 15 militants were killed and three militant hiding places were destroyed on Tuesday in action against rebels by security forces in tribal areas of Orakzai and Khyber, northwestern Pakistan. Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets as bombing rebels\' hiding places in Mamozai, Jandarkhel and Samaa areas of Orakzai killing at least ten suspects. Also, five suspects in Tiral valley area of Khyber were killed, according to (Pakistan Today) newspaper. There have been safe havens and hideouts within seven tribal Pakistani crossings, near Afghanistan borders, in areas of Bajaur/ Mahmend/ Khaibar/ Orakzai/ Kurram/ northern and southern Waziristan. Most of the hideouts existed since the nine-year Soviet War in Afghanistan broke out in December 1979.
