Two people have been killed and four have been injured in an ambush near the Yemeni capital on Friday night. The victims, from the Shia Houthi tribe were fired at as they were driving to Sanaa to take part in a Shia religious celebration, Eid al-Ghadeer, a source told Arabstoday. Saleh Al-Noaymi and Mothny Al-Dahmashy were killed in the attack. The other victims were taken to hospital. The Sunnis have launched a campaign against the Shia community in Yemen, which is predominant in the Sada governorate in the north of the country.
