
Two soldiers of the NATO-led coalition forces were killed Wednesday when two persons in Afghan military uniform opened fire in eastern Afghanistan, the coalition forces confirmed in a statement as quoted by the ABC. "Two International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members died when two individuals wearing Afghan National Security Forces' uniforms shot them in eastern Afghanistan today," the statement said. The brief statement also said that the "ISAF and Afghan officials are assessing the incident to determine the facts and as more information becomes available, it will be released as appropriate."
