Two Yemeni Houthi activists were killed, and four others injured, after gunmen opened fire on a Houthi demonstration outside University of Sanaa on Thursday. Locals told Arab Today that two armed men wearing military uniforms attacked the protesters in the central Change Square. Houthi security men were deployed at the scene to protect the activists after the incident. Security sources accused Islamic militant group al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) of being behind the attack, linking it to clashes between Salafists and Shiite Houthis a few days ago.
