2 Yemeni soldiers killed in truck ambush

Two Yemeni soldiers have been killed in an ambush, after unknown gunmen attacked a Yemeni army truck in the el-Dalea governorate. Local sources told Arabstoday that the attack was carried out by armed men affiliated with southern groups, demanding an independent south Yemen state. The Yemeni Defence Ministry confirmed the death of two soldiers, and added that a third soldier is recovering in hospital. The gunmen escaped from the scene.
