
Twenty-two Daesh militants were killed in airstrikes launched by Iraqi jet fighters in southern Mosul Tuesday, Iraqi military sources said.
The raids, which were carried out in Makhmur area, also left five military hummer vehicles destroyed, Russia Today reported.
Nineveh Operations Commander Negm el Jabouri said that Daesh militants bombed Tesqopa town in northern Mosul, killing eight members of the Peshmerga forces which control the area.
Meanwhile, 10 Daesh militants were killed in a missile shelling by the US-led coalition in western Mosul.
