
Three people, including two Lebanese soldiers, were lightly wounded Sunday morning when two bombs went off at a road junction in the Bekaa Valley city of Hermel, east Lebanon, security sources said. A third device was dismantled by bomb disposal officers before explosion. Sources told Arab Today that a girl named Eman Nasser al-Din was injured in the first explosion, at the southern entrance of Hermel, in Mahala Mahata. As an army patrol arrived at the scene to inspect the damage, the second ?explosion took place, hitting the military\'s 4x4 vehicle, injuring officer Hossam Rahboun and Lieutenant Ali Abi-Nader. The army imposed a security cordon and began an investigation. Minutes later, security ?forces discovered a third bomb which they managed to successful dismantle. In a statement, the army said: \"At 7.45 this ?morning (Sunday), an explosion took place on the main road at the entrance of Hermel city which damaged a citizen\'s car. As an army patrol headed to the scene for inspection, it was subject to ?another explosion which injured an officer and a soldier.\" The injuries of the soldiers were described as \"non-severe.\"
