
The Joint Operations Command in Iraq announced the killing of three soldiers and wounding five others in an armed attack in Riyadh district of Kirkuk. The command said in a statement that gunmen attacked by light and medium weapons an army checkpoint in one of the villages of Riyadh area, killing three members of the checkpoint and wounding five others and materially damaging three military vehicles. Meanwhile, the Joint Operations Command said in another statement that the air force destroyed a convoy consisted of three-vehicles carrying machine guns in Hadher area south of Mosul, killing all the terrorist elements that were inside the vehicles.
