At least 350 terrorists were killed since a wide-scale security operation was launched by Iraqi forces four days ago to free Al Karma area in the restive Iraqi province of Anbar from the control of Daesh militants, the Interior Ministry said.
Some 20 vehicles used by the terrorists were also damaged during the operation, the spokesman for the ministry said.
Some 382 explosives and 81 booby-trapped houses were dismantled and 12 machine guns were destroyed during the crackdown, he added.
Iraqi soldiers, police units, Kurdish forces, Shia volunteers and Sunni tribesmen are engaged in battles with terrorists in the unrest-hit country to drive them back from the areas they held.
