
Four civilians were killed and 21 injured in three separate incidents in Baghdad on Monday, security sources said.
A booby-trapped car went off in southeastern Baghdad while two bombs went off in eastern and southern the capital.
The car was parked on the side of the road when it went off, killing two civilians and injuring eight, mostly children, and damaging houses in the area of the blast, security sources said.
Two Iraqi soldiers were killed and four others injured when a bomb went off during a combing operation, the sources added.
Nine civilians were injured in a bombing that destroyed three houses in eastern Baghdad, the sources said.
