Four guards were injured when unidentified persons hurled a hand grenade at the gate of the Education Ministry in Sanaa Sunday night.
A statement by the Ministry said that the persons were traveling in a taxi when they slowed down to throw the bomb and then fled the scene.
The statement was published by the Yemeni news agency, which is controlled by the Houthi group, and urged security bodies to live up to their responsibility in capturing the perpetrators.
Security measures have, meanwhile, been tightened at the Ministry, which now only allows cars into the premises after receiving an authorization.
Employees are also asked to reveal their cards upon entry and are searched before they enter the building.
