Four terrorists were killed and a very dangerous one was arrested while attempting to escape from Sheikh Zoweid in North Sinai, the military spokesman said Tuesday.
As armed forces tightened security on Sinai outlets and inlets and armed forces killed four terrorists riding a pickup truck in an attempt to escape from Sinai, Brigadier Mohamed Samir said.
The third field army personnel also rounded up a very dangerous terrorist while trying to escape from a security checkpoint.
Forcing Kamal Eid Salem to stop, army forces found RPGs, hand grenades, ammunition on his pick-up truck.
On Thursday, the army waged a war against terror in Sinai after five checkpoints in Sinai were simultaneously attacked. Scores of army personnel and terrorists were killed and injured.
