
Four Tunisian soldiers were injured in an exchange of gunfire on Wednesday night between military patrol and an armed group.
The armed group attacked the military patrol inside a closed military zone in al-Shaanbi Mountain in Al Qasrayn state.
Military sources said the soldiers sustained wounds of varying degrees of severity.
The armed groups, holed up in al-Shaanbi Mountain and blockaded since the end of April of last year, planted mines, some of them blasted and resulted in the fall of more than 50 dead and wounded in the ranks of security forces and the army which holds a campaign in search of armed elements.
