
Five civilians were killed and 11 injured in an army shelling in the city of Fallujah in west Iraq. A source at Fallujah hospital said five persons including a woman were killed and 11 others were injured in a renewed artillery bombardments and mortar shelling in most of Fallujah’s neighbourhoods. The source added that the shelling caused damage to a mosque located in northern Fallujah. Meanwhile, Fallujah and its affiliated areas are suffering a complete blackout due to the damage caused to the power station in northeastern Fallujah which was affected by the shelling. Families are pouring out of Fallujah for the fourth day running due to the fierce shelling in the city. Source: QNA
