
The Joint Operations Command in Iraq announced the killing and wounding of a number of ‘Daash’ militants in Anbar. The command said in a statement Thursday that the first rapid intervention division in Anbar province killed five and wounded two militants of ‘Daash’ organisation in the regions of Saqlawiyah and Qarma. On the other hand, a joint force of the army and police in Babylon arrested four wanted men in the Alexandria area 60 km north of Hilla. A source in the Babylon police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the arrest was made according to arrest warrants issued by the investigating judge against them, noting that police found weapons and maps of residential areas in possession of most them.
