
More than 70 Houthis and pro-former president Ali Abdullah Saleh militants were killed while eight others were taken as prisoners in clashes that lasted for almost a week in Dhale governorate between militias and popular resistance, Addali News quoted sources as saying on Thursday.
A prominent leader affiliated to the militias was killed in the clashes.
Popular resistance blew up a tank and an armored vehicle in which militants riding them were killed, sources said.
Meanwhile, a special unit pushed deeper into militias gatherings killing 30 of them.
Also, 40 militants were killed in severe clashes in Domt city while others were injured and eight were taken as prisoners,
The resistance also foiled attempts to infiltrate into Domt city in which three members of the resistance were killed while seven others were injured.
