Ahmed Shafik denies rumours of withdrawal

Ahmed Shafik, the Egyptian presidential candidate, denied that he would withdraw from the elections in case former Vice President Omar Suleiman ran as well. He added that his decision was final and that \"his ethics and values did not allow him to withdraw from the field\" once he joined it. Shafik said in a press statement on Wednesday that he would run for the presidency until the end, no matter what the circumstances or who the competitors were.
