
Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir announced Sunday the release of all political prisoners as well as boosting freedom of media in order to bring about success for the comprehensive national dialogue, paving way for ending Sudan’s problems. Al-Bashir, addressing the opening session of the national dialogue, featuring participation of 90 leaders of political parties, pledged to exert efforts to create a suitable atmosphere for the dialogue to enable the political forces achieve a national program. He called on forces who did not attend the session to join the dialogue. He said he instructed authorities concerned to allow political parties exercise their activities without any restrictions but in line with the law. Al-Bashir called on media to contribute to the success of the national dialogue. He said his government was also committed to allowing armed movements to participate in the dialogue. Source: QNA
