
Al-Qaeda organization targeted, with a car bomb, a Yemeni security checkpoint in in Shabwa province, southeast of Yemen.
The deputy security director of Shabwa, Ahmed Bin Sari, said that a car bomb targeted a security checkpoint in the directorate of Radwan, leaving five soldiers killed and three others injured. He added that the fate of three soldiers is not known until the moment.
According to Ben Sari, investigations are under way, reinforcements have arrived in anticipation of any attack, and the surrounding roads have been closed.
