Algeria destroys 5 hideouts of militants east of country

Algerian Ministry of Defense said, on Saturday, that the Algerian army forces destroyed five hideouts of extremists, in the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Aïn Defla and Bordj Bou Arreridj, eastern Algeria.
The Algerian army also arrested three elements supporting the terrorist groups in the provinces of Oran and Sidi Bel Abbes in western Algeria, as well as arresting of three other elements in the provinces of Tlemcen and Sidi Bel Abbes over trading in the narcotic drugs.
On the other hand, the border guards forces foiled attempts to smuggle large amounts of fuel, and managed to arrest 15 illegal immigrants of different nationalities in a number of southern provinces.
