Anti-Mubarak protests staged at universites

University students on Sunday staged protests against a court ruling that found deposed president Hosni Mubarak, his interior minister Habib el-Adly and six former security officials in the killing of 2011 protesters not guilty.
In Minya, Dozens of Muslim Brotherhood and April 6 Movement students staged a protest inside the campus, chanting anti-Mubarak slogans.
The university's Acting President Gamal Abul Magd said security forces dispersed the protest and six students were arrested with fireworks and publications in their possession.
In Damanhur, Dozens of students protested against the ruling, calling for retribution from killers of the revolution martyrs.
Meanwhile, female students of the Islamic Studies college of Al-Azhar University in Zagazig staged anti-Mubarak protests, chanting anti-state slogans.
The college dean Amal Abdel Rahman said ten security personnel and employees were injured when they tried to disperse female students who tried to storm the administrative building.
In Kafr el-Sheikh, students staged anti-Mubarak protests outside the university's main gates where security forces tightened security measures.
