The Arab League was disappointed the "Geneva II" conference was delayed again with no date set, said spokesman Nassif Hitti. Hitti, who represented the Arab League at an international conference on Syria in Geneva on Tuesday, said discussions at the meeting showed many obstacles and stumbles that prevented a date to be set for the Geneva II gathering. Preparations are underway to hold a meeting in Geneva later this month to probe the obstacles facing the Geneva II, he told reporters Thursday upon his return from Geneva. The Arab League was disappointed a date was not agreed because each passing day means more and more victims fall and an exacerbating humanitarian crisis is ongoing in Syria, he said. Source: MENA
