Archbishop of Sebastia, Atallah Hanna said he condemned Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. “We offer our deep condolences for the deaths of Palestinians in Gaza and wish those injured a rapid recovery,” he said. Hanna said the attack is a strong message from Israel to force Palestinians to waive their rights to the land. “This aggressive attack aims to destroy the moral state of the struggling Palestinians who are fighting for their national rights.” “We support the people in Gaza, they are already suffering siege, injustice, and suppression and now occupation raids are increasing destroying homes, killing innocent women and children.” Hanna urged all Christians, Arabs and Muslims to stop the bloodshed in Gaza.
