At least 5 killed in Karachi violence

At least five people were killed in firing incidents in different parts of Karachi. According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Landhi Future Colony and injured two police official, Pakistan's (Dunya) News reported. The injured cops were rushed to a nearby hospital. At least three persons received injuries in exchange of fire between two groups in Pehelwan Goth area. In North Karachi, some unidentified persons shot dead a man while police have recovered a dead body from Korangi area. According to police, the deceased was killed after torture. Meanwhile, SIC have arrested a target killer, Ayaz, during an operation in Gulistan-e-Johar area. According to police, Ayaz was declared dead in police record but was arrested on a tip-off. In a separate development police have arrested three dacoits during an operation in Khawaja Ajmer Nagri.
