
Bahrain's Deputy King, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met here Thursday with the Republic of Turkey’s Chief Adviser for Middle East Affairs, Sefer Turan, currently visiting Manama.
During the meeting, the Deputy King stressed his country's keenness to continue strengthening ties with the Republic of Turkey, which demonstrates the importance Bahrain places on the bilateral relationship and the recognition of Turkey’s pivotal role in progressing regional development, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Bahraini Deputy King also emphasised that both countries should continue to explore a range of opportunities for economic collaboration, and that every effort should be made to build on the success of previous bilateral agreements across various sectors that have benefited both countries’ citizens, according to BNA.
