Khartoum’s Governor, Dr Abdul-Rahman Khedr, revealed that President Bashir has transferred the explosive material department in Yarmouk mill to some other place away from residential areas in Khartoum. The new Khartoum urban planner advised the transfer of a number of mills away from the governorate, mentioning that the governor declarations excluded foreign involvement in the incident. This was received by sharp attacks against him calling the governmental members to carry out more investigations before delivering wrong declarations. The Governor has also ordered a committee to be formed to count the number of losses after four people were killed in addition to thirty five houses destroyed. Khedr has visited the families of those killed accompanied with governmental members Friday.
