Bomb kills 3 soldiers in eastern Algiers

Algerian military forces were the target on a bomb explosion on Tuesday during an operation targeting militants in eastern Algiers that left three soldiers killed and four others injured. A security source told Arab Today on Wednesday that the bomb was the suspected to be the work of al-Qaeda militant. The source said that the three soldiers were killed in the ?mountainous area of Wad al-Had. The source added that the incident came as military forces launched an operation to clear the area of insurgents.
