
The Cairo Criminal Court will continue on Saturday the retrial of former president Hosni Mubarak, his two sons, Alaa and Gamal, former interior minister Habib Al Adly, six of Adly's aides and fugitive businessman Hussein Salem in the case of killing protesters during the January 25 revolution. The retrial will be held in sessions on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. A number of witnesses were added including former prime minister Ahmed Nazif and former assistant foreign minister ambassador Wafaa Bassim to give their testimonies in the case on Saturday. The court also decided to summon former assistant interior minister Mortada Ibrahim Abdel Rahman and the head of the follow-up department in Adly's office on Sunday. On Monday, the court will hear the testimony of former military police chief Hamdy Badeen. The three sessions are expected to be held behind closed doors. Source: MENA
