Coalition forces warplanes today launched massive air raids on the positions of Huthi militants in northern Yemen Al Jawf governorate.
Local sources in the governorate said the raids targeted positions of the Huthi militants in Wadi Al Qadeer and Al Nadr, east of Al Safraa position which is under the Huthi militants control, adding that the air strikes resulted in deaths and injuries among Houthi militants, in addition to the destruction of a significant part of their military ammunition.
The sources also noted that the Huthis have moved the bodies of the dead and wounded from those locations on their patrol vehicles to an unknown location, at a time when coalition aircraft launched raids on positions of Huthi militants and forces loyal to deposed President Ali Abdullah Saleh in the capital Sanaa.
Yemeni military sources said that the shelling was aimed at Sanaa international airport, Al-Dailami airbase and Al Khurafi camp.
