Kuwait sentenced to death seven defendants involved in the June suicide bombing of Imam Sadiq Mosque, east of Kuwait City.
At least 27 people were killed and more than 220 people wounded in the Shiite mosque attack.
Another eight defendants were sentenced to 2 to 15 year-imprisonment terms, while 14 others were acquitted.
A group affiliated with Daesh said it was behind the attack.
Tunisia and France saw attacks on the same day, although no definite link between them has been established.
The attacks came in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, when Daesh had urged its followers to mount attacks.
