Egypt allows security forces to use live rounds

Egypt\'s Interior Ministry issued an order to the different segments of the security forces to use live ammunition when confronting any attacks against themselves or government facilities The ministry said in a statement that it blamed the Muslim Brotherhood for targeting governmental and security facilities in the different governorates, adding that the Brotherhood has attacked security forces and blocked roads in order to spread chaos. It added that the ministry decided to allow security forces to respond to any attacks with live ammunition, noting that the forces will be supplied with the necessary weapons to protect themselves and to restore stability in the country. The ministry assured it will take legal measures against people who participate in any attacks targeting security forces or government facilities, stressing that it will confront the people who are trying to undermine the security of the country.
