
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed Saturday with Lebanon's Prime Minister Tammam Salam boosting bilateral ties and fighting terrorism.
The talks were held during a meeting between Shoukry and Salam on the fringe of the Munich Security Conference, Egyptian Foreign Ministry's spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said.
The meeting touched on ways of enhancing cooperation in various fields and the latest regional developments, especially the Syrian crisis, and their impact on neighboring Lebanon.
The two sides mainly focused on fighting terrorism and the importance of international efforts in uprooting extremism.
