
An Egyptian delegation submitted a protest letter to the Libyan embassy here over the murder of seven Egyptian Copts recently in Benghazi. The Egyptian delegation includes Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Human Rights Hassan Moussa and Vice Chairman of the General Union of Egyptians in Austria Ahmed Soliman. Speaking to MENA, Moussa said the Libyan side expressed deep sorrow over the crime and assured that Libyan authorities are exerting tremendous efforts in investigating the case to bring the killers to justice. On February 24, gunmen have abducted and shot dead seven Egyptian Coptic workers in Libya’s second largest city of Benghazi. Source: MENA
