The head of the Strong Egypt Party, Abdel-Moneim Abul-Fotouh has claimed that President Mohammed Morsi has excluded everyone who helped him win presidency last year. During a meeting with party members in Alexandria on Saturday evening, Abul-Fotouh added that his movement was the first party to propose early presidential elections. The veteran politician claimed that Egyptians shouldn\'t be ruled by a single political party, and proposed a consensus government comprising various national political groups. Abul-Fotouh told activists President Morsi doesn\'t have \"a blank check\" to do whatever he wants with the people of Egypt. The Strong Egypt Party\'s press office issued an official statement from Abul-Fotouh in which he described \"peaceful protest\" as the main reason for the success of the January 25 revolution. He reiterated his party\'s policy of rejecting violence. Abul-Fotouh said that the army has no role in domestic politics, and should stick to its job of protecting the nation\'s borders.
