
Egypt's interim President Adly Manosur visited on Sunday Pope Tawadros II at the Coptic Cathedral in the Cairo district of Abbasiya to greet him on Christmas. This is the first time an Egyptian president personally visits the Church to offer Christmas greetings, said spokesman for the church Paul Halim. He said the Church and the holy Synod are so glad with the visit that reflects good feelings. Secretary of the Holy Synod Bishop Raphel, archbishop of the youth in the Coptic Orthodox Church Anba Moussa, along with a number of pastors welcomed the president upon arrival at the church.
