
The electoral committees throughout Egypt's governroates started Sunday to receive nomination requests for the pcoming parliamentary elections.
The polls will be held in two stages from March 21 to May 7.
The elections will be held in 14 Egyptian governorates on March 22-23, and the rest of the 27 governorates in the country will vote on April 26-27. The runoffs for the first and second stages are scheduled for April 1-2 and May 6-7 respectively.
The Egyptian expatriates of the first 14 provinces will vote on March 21-22, and those of the second group of governorates will go to the polls on May 5-6.
The upcoming polls are the third stage of a roadmap for power transition in Egypt after the overthrow of president Mohamed Morsi due to massive protests throughout the country.
