Egypt supports Sudan over Israeli attack

Sudanese Vice President Ali Osman Taha has received the support of Egypt following the recent Israeli bombing on a Khartoum military complex. The Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil phoned up Taha to denounce the Israeli attack and offer his support to the Sudanese government. Taha also received a phone call from the deputy leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Mahamoud Ezzat, in which he condemned the Israeli aggression on Sudan and expressed his group\'s the solidarity with the Sudanese people. In a related context, the Sudanese envoy to the UN held a meeting on Thursday with the head of the UN Security Council, in which he voiced his country\'s complaint against Israel on the Sudanese military complex, which he stressed was producing only \"conventional weapons\". The Sudanese envoy urged the UN to take a firm stance against Israel and said his country will soon file an official complain to the UN Security Council.
