Leading member of Egypt’s National Salvation Front Amr Moussa met with Deputy Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Khairat el-Shater in the house of Ayman Nour, chairperson of Ghad Party. Moussa said in a televised statement on Wednesday: “I met with Khairat el-Shater on Wednesday at the house of Dr Ayman Nour. I accepted the invitation as it is a social invitation not a political one.” Moussa added that he warned against the current state of tension witnessed in the Egyptian community due to the repeated mistakes committed by current rulers. He added that they discussed the demonstrations of June 30 and their repercussions. He clarified that he stressed the big difference between the Muslim Brotherhood and the opposition parties.
