Egypt’s Nour Party deny mediation statement

Egypt’s Salafist Nour Party denied a statement made by Chairperson of Ibn-Khaldoun Centre Saad el-Din Ibrahim claiming that members of the Salafist party had asked him mediate for the party in front of the US Administration. It added in a statement that the party has not been in contact with Ibrahim, stressing that they do not need any mediation to contact with any internal or external fronts. The party said that they have created a specialist committee to contact diplomatic missions and the embassies of the other countries directly. Ibrahim had said in a statement during a conference held in Ibn-Khaldoun Centre that the Salafists asked him to promote them as the suitable alternative for the Muslim Brotherhood during the coming period.
