Ethiopian Prime Minister Haily Meriam Desalin arrived in Khartoum on Wednesday and was received by Sudanese President Hassan el-Bashir. Meriam said that the visit aims to strengthen and deepen the relations between the two countries, adding that there has been a notable development. He added that the leadership of the both countries have worked to support their relations. He praised the role the Sudanese President in supporting the association between the two countries in addition to focusing on African issues. He expressed his country’s appreciation for such an important role. The officials will discuss common issues and current differences between Khartoum and Juba that have hindered the cooperation agreement.
