Lebanese Future Movement commemorated President Rafiq Hariri’s birthday and General Wissam al-Hassan in an event opposite Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s house. The event took place on Friday in Lebanon's Tripoli and began with the Lebanese national anthem, a speech by a women's sector coordinator in Tripoli Nabil Babti, and a recital of a poem by Lebanese poet Zaki al-Asaly. General al-Hassan’s nephew gave a speech on behalf of his family in which he spoke about al-Hassan's character and love for Lebanon. Two documentary films were screened about both Hariri and al-Hassan The event concluded when attendees lit candles forming the names of Rafik Hariri and Wissam Al Hassan.
