Ex-Sanaa governor killed in Huthi clashes

Former governor of Sanaa Abdel Ghani Jameel and his nephew were killed after having sustained critical injuries during clashes with Houthi elements.
The Houthis had asked the ex-governor to surrender and force himself into home arrest but he refused, sparking clashes between his guards and the militiamen, Yemen 24 news website reported.
Jameel and his nephew Nasr Hamid died Thursday night of the injuries they had sustained during the clashes.
