Fatah denounces Liberman\'s statements

Fatah movement denounced statements by a former Israeli foreign minister against President Mahmoud Abbas as a dangerous incitement. Avigdor Liberman, chairman of the Knesset\'s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, was quoted in Israeli media outlets on Monday as saying that Abbas is not a peace partner. His statements have been considered as reflecting an Israeli desire to get rid of Abbas. In a statement issued on Friday, Fatah warned the Israeli government against any harm to Abbas. Source: MENA
