Fatah to hold anniversary celebrations in Gaza

Hamas has granted Fatah permission to hold their own anniversary celebrations in al-Kateeba Square, in central Gaza City. The Palestinian Fatah Party was founded 48 years ago. Fatah official Yehia Rabah said Hamas should express their consent in writing soon. He added that al-Kateeba Square was ideal to hold the event because of its location. Hamas leaders have been invited to take part in the ceremony, in a bid to improve further the relationship between the two parties.
