Hamas has reportedly moved their leadership from Syria, sources said. Spokesman Salah al-Bardawil said on Monday he did not have “specific information” regarding the closure of their offices in the country. “Whether Syrian authorities shut down our offices or not is not the issue. We just do not want Palestinians shoved into the heat of battle,” he said. “Palestinians in camps or elsewhere have nothing to do with this fight,” he said. Sources said Hamas offices in Syria had been shut down and sealed with red tape. These reports come as aircraft and artillery attacks against strongholds of ‘the Syrian Free Army’ and the opposition makes another attempt at unity.
