Sabahi comes under ferocious defamation

The official campaign of presidential hopeful Hamdeen Sabahi asserted that he has come under ferocious attack to defame him over the past few days. In a statement released late Sunday, the campaign termed as "fabricated and well-organized" the defamation campaign against Sabahi, noting that whoever has any accusations against Sahabi should immediately report them to the public prosecutor. The statement said such campaign is led by "persons who have personal interests and the corrupt elements of ex-president Hosni Mubarak in the media. It also welcomed any objective criticism leveled against Sahabi or any of his presidential campaign. The statement also asserted that Sahabi will file a lawsuit against whoever tries to defame him without any evidence. Source: MENA
