The Health Minister Dr. Saad al-Nayef visited citizens injured in Friday\'s bombing in Daf al-Shouk neighbourhood in Damascus; most of the wounded were young children. Al-Nayef said that medical staff is providing all the necessary treatment to the injured, adding that terrorist bombings only serve the enemies of Syria. The hospital director Dr. Adib Mahmoud said that 15 civilians arrived dead to the hospital, eight of whom were children. In addition to this, 92 were wounded including 65 children. He also added that six of the injured needed to be admitted to the ICU and eight underwent surgery, while 64 sustained light injuries and were able to leave the hospital.
