
Undersecretary of Sana'a governor Ali al-Gashmi has said Houthi gunmen had withdrawn from mountains, hills and areas that they controlled in the past few days in Hamdan district. Speaking to Saba, al-Gashmi, who is also in charge of implementing the decisions of the Supreme Security Committee, stressed the importance of implementing the security committee orders to establish two security sites in Mafrq Hazim Shibam and Darawan towns to enhance security and stability in the district. He stressed the importance that the all parties must commit to an agreement signed by Hamdan tribal leaders and the Houthis. The calm spreads in all over regions after the withdrawal of gunmen outside the district and their sites were replaced by troops from military police and special forces. For his part, director general of Hamdan district Gubran Gawbar said that the committee is to continue on supervising any breaches that could be occurred by any party. Source: Saba
